What are the minimum hardware requirements for Video Enhance AI?
We suggest using Video Enhance AI on high-end Nvidia graphics cards. The minimum requirement isA GTX 1050 with 4GB of VRAM. Any graphics card newer/better than GTX 1080 (included) will run pretty fast. If you don’t have an Nvidia graphics card in your device, the software can run on your Intel iGPU. Usually it will be 5 times slower. If you don’t have an Intel iGPU, the software will eventually fall back on your CPU, which can be 10 times slower than Nvidia GPUs.

We built Topaz Video AI v3 from the ground up to include new features like video stabilization, improved enhancement capabilities, and a better user experience. Using this new code base allows us to deliver some of your most requested features, such as:

We originally created Video Enhance AI to improve the most common quality issues affecting video, including frame removal, intelligent upscaling to 8K resolution, and seamless frame rate conversion. Because it treats video as a series of images at a constant rate, this led to problems when application AI models had to process frames with variable frame rates, frame repeats, and scene changes.
It also hampered our ability to develop new models for scene stabilization or tracking, as it required multiple passes through the video.
To develop these new features and continue to innovate, we built the next generation of this application on a completely new code base and a completely new user interface with numerous functional improvements such as stacking of multiple AI models, parallel task execution and project queue filtering.
The new features included in Topaz Video AI v3 can be divided into two categories:
Usability improvements
New AI models
You can now activate more than one AI model in a single task, enabling a more flexible workflow. For example, you can now zoom to 4K resolution while activating stabilization you add grain.
Users can now multitask, enabling a more efficient workflow. You can run different previews from multiple input video files with different settings and run multiple projects simultaneously.
You can also use new filter options to display processing tasks for a selected video file or all uploaded video files, and filter by output preview tasks, output tasks, or both.
Major performance and stability improvements

Cross-platform hardware encoding support for H264, H265 and AV1 (when available), along with higher bitrate output formats such as ProRes 444.
