Live11 is an optimized Tiny11 image designed to fit on a 4GB VHD and runs entirely on RAM. Since it’s only 4GB, that means it can fit on a DVD, possibly making it the first Windows 11 Live DVD.
Feature:
– Only boots on older MBR/BIOS drives. This will be fixed in a later version.
– Virtualbox VM does not work because it restarts after the “install device” phase. And since it’s a non-persistent image, all progress is lost and therefore in the boot loop. VMware and Hyper-V work though.
– Requires 8 GB RAM. Although the image only uses 4GB of RAM, it takes twice as long to load.
– Still, I think the ability to boot Windows 11 entirely from a DVD is a nice new feature.

– Processor: 2 gigahertz (GHz) or faster.
– RAM: 4 gigabytes (GB).
– Graphics card: DirectX 9 or newer graphics device.
– Additional terms for using certain features.
– To use touch, you need a tablet or monitor that supports multitouch.
– To access the Windows Store to download and run apps, you need an active Internet connection and a screen resolution of at least 1024 768 pixels.
